West Virginia History Day

Meet us at the State Capitol in Charleston for History Day! Archiving West Virginia will have a table at the Twenty-first Annual West Virginia History Day,Thursday, March 9, 2017. The event will be held at the West Virginia State Capitol Complex during the 1st session of the 83rd West Virginia Legislature.

West Virginia History Day is officially designated by the West Virginia Archives and History Commission as a special day to recognize the state’s rich and varied history. Other co-sponsors of the event are Mining Your History Foundation, Preservation Alliance of West Virginia, Inc., West Virginia Association of Museums, West Virginia Historical Society, West Virginia Humanities Council, and West Virginia Division of Culture and History.
